Is Justice Blind?

After I shot this photo of the Stokes Federal Courthouse in Cleveland, I thought about our justice system, and the recent case in Mansfield of a drug informant lying on the witness stand and framing innocent people.

Is justice really blind?

The process of becoming a lawyer seems to erode most persons capacity to be Good or at least decent and useful to society. Judges are just bigger lawyers.

For example, if you read the book “Reefer Madness” by Eric Schlosser you will notice that all the prosecuting attorneys are very bad people. But they’re just doing their jobs, and if they score enough points they can get promoted to being a judge, being some kind of federal agent, or go into politics.

I am sorry to say that I have valid reasons
to have lost all faith in our justice system. (it’s still a great photo)
