Strapping Young Lad

A lot of people that know me also know that I’m a huge fan of Strapping Young Lad. Devin Townsend is probably one of the best frontmen I’ve ever witnessed live. His twisted sense of humor is always the source of a lot of laughter from the crowd.
Their House of Blues stop on tour with Darkane and Fear Factory was nothing short of pummeling. Because of House of Blues restrictions on photographers (read: very strict), I was only allowed to shoot the first 3 songs, with NO flash. Luckily I packed fast film and a fast camera.
15 minutes and 10 rolls of film later, I had photos like this. It made me realize that I’m pretty good at shooting concert photos under pressure!
