Why I Love Pixelpost

If you’ve looked at my Photoblog, you know that it runs on Pixelpost, the free, open-source photoblogging app. This morning I came across an addon that allows integration of comments on my photos at my Flickr page.
I had the addon downloaded, installed and integrated into my Pixelpost template in literally 10 minutes. No code-monkeying was required, outside of plugging in my Flickr API Key and inserting the FLICKR_COMMENTS tag into the template.
If you use Pixelpost and have a Flickr page, I highly recommend giving it a spin!

Do you ever use Flickr Uploadr? Ever since they upgraded into 3.x land, the app has been rife with bugs, and Flickr doesn’t seem to be addressing the problem. Bit the bullet yesterday and ponied up $23 for the iPhoto/Flickr plugin. Feh.
