Crybaby? Hardly.

Today’s Plain Dealer has an article about the ‘crybaby’ t-shirt debacle at Friday’s Cavs/Wizards game.
The Wizards really showed what little character they have when certain players tried to get a reaction from LeBron. They even resorted to getting these shirts made when their trash talking barely got a reaction from Mr. James. Darius Songalia took it to thug level by hitting LeBron in Game 6. Their tactics are reminiscent of Mikki Moore’s braggadocio during the 2007 NBA playoffs…and look where that got his team: out of the playoffs, just like the Wizards.
Well, it looks like you have marketing blogger Jon Eick to thank for getting the word out about the shirts.
Is this the beginning of the end of Papa John’s in Cleveland? Maybe.
It’s kinda funny how the phrase “what goes around comes around” comes to mind.
For what it’s worth, I stopped eating Papa John’s years ago. I’d much rather eat pizza from locally-owned shops anyway. Angelo’s, Roman Fountain, and Donte’s beat PJ’s hands down.
Update: So Good posts an update to the PJ’s fallout, and Waiting For Next Year is documenting the reaction here in Cleveland.

Songaila hit LeBron in Game 5 and was suspended for Game 6 but your point is still valid. The Cavs kept their wits, even after a 30-point shellacking in Game 3 and a heartbreaker of a loss in Game 5. If nothing else, young players will learn…stick to the plan, run your race and you will come out on top. Forget what naysayers and critics have to say.
The Cavs didn’t need to run their mouths…the scoreboard spoke enough.
