Des Moines Arts Festival

I recently visited the Des Moines Arts Festival, and to say I was impressed is an understatement.
What really amazed me was the sheer number of people that attended the Festival, and the number of children that were also there with their parents. It’s always encouraging to see parents exposing their kids to art at an early age.
As I walked around downtown Des Moines, I noticed the large amount of public art. It’s good to know there are cities out there that really support the arts.

I’m really surprised at Charleston WV’s FestivALL. It’s really taken off, and people really love it!
