Catching Salinger

“In January, 2005, myself and two other phonies from Cleveland, Ohio, set out to retrace the steps of Holden Caulfield from the novel The Catcher in the Rye and to speak with the book’s author, J.D. Salinger, who has remained in seclusion since 1965.

The journey was full of surprises and chance encounters with people and locations who influenced Salinger’s most popular work.

We took along a camera to document the adventure, but due to strange legal battles, have not been been to share this film with you.

Until now.”

Dreaming in Meta

About

A blog about food, wine, photography, travel, tech, pop culture, and social media...with a little geek thrown in for flavor.

I love to cook, collect and try new recipes. I'm always in search of the perfect meal, the perfect glass of wine, the perfect cup of coffee. Some people eat to live...but I live to eat.
